All Israeli crimes stem from US support of Tel Aviv: Malaysias ex-PM

Malaysias former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad

Malaysias former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad says all Israeli atrocities against Palestinians stem from the support the Tel Aviv regime receives from the United States.

In a Thursday post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Mahathir said "The crux of the matter is that all these atrocities committed by Israel on the Palestinians stems from the American support for Tel Aviv."

"If the American Government withdraws its support for Israel and stop all military aids to the regime, Israel would not have carried out the genocide and mass murders of Palestinians with impunity."

His remarks came two days after the world was shocked when Israel launched a missile attack on the Anglican-run Ahli Hospital, also known as the Baptist Hospital, in central Gaza, where, along with patients, hundreds of people had also taken refuge from Israeli airstrikes.

The brutal air raid killed at least 500 people and wounded hundreds of others.

Israel claims that the cause of the huge blast at the ill-fated hospital was a misfired rocket launched by the Palestinian resistance groups from Gaza, a claim that was echoed by US President Joe Biden in Tel Aviv.

This is while all evidence demonstrates it was a missile strike by Israel that caused such a humanitarian catastrophe.

"President Joe Bidens statement regarding the bombing of the hospital in Gaza was from a misfired Palestinian rocket is totally ridiculous and absurd. Why should there be any doubt that the blast of the Al Ahli Arab hospital is from an Israeli air strike as the murderous regime had been attempting to wipe Palestinians and Gaza out of existence since last week," Mahathir said.

"In fact, Israel had been after the Palestinians all the time, if not wipe out the Palestinians altogether, for the past 70 years and suddenly now, after launching air strikes day and night, Palestinians blames for the blast on the hospital. 4. Bidens narrative is based on feedbacks from Netanyahu and Pentagon," the former prime minister said.

Furthermore, Mahathir said Biden repeated Netanyahus lie about the alleged beheading of Israeli babies by Hamas fighters.

"A more recent lie is about Biden claiming to have seen pictures of Hamas beheading babies. Indeed, the White House had withdrawn the statement, admitting that there was no proof of such a deed. The question is how Biden could blatantly lie in the first place and with a straight face," Mahathir noted.

"The United States government needs to come clean and tell the truth. Israel and its IDF are the terrorists. The United States is blatantly supporting terrorists. So what is the United States?"

Israel launched the war on the coastal enclave on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity. So far, 3,500 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli air raids, including more than 1,000 women and 1,000 children.
